With each order, seventy-five percent of our earnings goes right back into our community, to fight hunger and help with basic needs, to provide community events, and to one day provide transitional job opportunities and jobs for the disabled.
At Red Fork Chocolate Co. we care deeply about our community and people in need. That's why we founded For the Community, by the Community - a charity aimed at fighting hunger and helping with basic needs.
From upcoming holiday food drives to pop-up pantries, our top priority is helping the hungry in our community. It's an unfortunate fact that SNAP and local food banks only go so far, and many people are still left without enough food to feed their families. No one should have to choose between groceries or paying their utility bill, but it's a tough dilemma many people face in our poor community. No matter how small, we hope to make a difference in the lives of those families.
We also hope to hold in-person community enrichment events. Because people were meant to thrive in community, while poverty tends to create isolation. We wanr to address this with free events for Red Fork Families.
Long-term, one of our biggest goals is to hire employees as we grow, and with that, we want to provide jobs for those with disabilities as well as transitional job opportunities for those transitioning out of homelessness.
